Frequently Asked Questions

What Shipping Methods Are Available?

Our default shipping carrier is USPS. Other available shipping options are UPS, and FedEx. Please contact us directly for shipping quotes from alternative carriers sales@wccdiecast.com

Do I need soldering experience?

While soldering experience is not explicitly required to use our circuit boards, it is highly recommended. All of our circuit boards ship in a 'Ready to Install' configuration, but many builders find it beneficial to be able to desolder some wires, run them through the model, and then resolder them once they've been neatly tucked away and hidden within the model.

Do you build custom models?

We do! While we can't guarantee that requests are currently open, you can view the 'Custom Cars' tab for more info.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we only ship within North America, this includes USA, Canada, and Mexico. Please contact us directly for international shipping quotes; sales@wccdiecast.com International customers are responsible for all import taxes/duties. Refusal to pay import fees nullifies your right to a refund.

Do you offer bulk pricing?

Please contact us directly for bulk pricing options: sales@wccdiecast.com

How much do custom models cost?

1/24 Scale models typically range from $100-$200 in price. 1/18 Scale models typically range from $150-$300 in price.

Do I have to pay anything to return my items?

You are responsible for return shipping costs for non-RMA returns.

How do I return an item?

Please contact us: sales@wccdiecast.com to process your return request.

How do I prevent battery drain?

In order to prevent battery drain, the circuit board needs to be turned off via an on/off switch, not the switch that is used to change the patterns. Even when the LEDs are 'off', if power isn't interrupted via an on/off switch, the microcontroller and voltage regulator will continue to draw power from the battery.
